LIGNA, the world's largest and most influential trade fair for machinery, plant and tools for the woodworking and wood processing industries, which is held in Hannover every two years in rotation, was able to open its doors again this year for the first time since 2019. For reasons of the Corona pandemic, it had to be cancelled completely in 2021. Accordingly, the starting position for all exhibitors was uncertain to what extent visitor behaviour had changed after 4 years.
Looking back after the show, the majority of exhibitors would raise their thumbs up. The official LIGNA figures also speak for themselves: 80,000 visitors from 160 countries (60% from abroad) attended LIGNA. Some 1,300 exhibitors from 50 countries presented their latest woodworking innovations on 114,000 m² of exhibition space. TIGRA was also able to profit from the success of the leading trade fair and recorded large numbers of visitors from Germany, but especially also from many European countries. TIGRA's existing customers, potential new customers and expert interested parties visited TIGRA's stand and underlined the importance of the fair and the great interest worldwide in TIGRA's high-quality products in the most diverse areas of woodworking. After all, the export share of the company is over 80 %.
TIGRA's new booth concept in Hanover appealed to the many trade visitors and there was great interest in the proven and the newly presented product solutions. The product range was presented to the visitors in a brightly illuminated presentation island.
